Ginger Juice manufacturing process
- Ginger of Indian origin is sourced directly from farmers and brought to our manufacturing facility. Ginger is sorted, and damaged turmeric is removed.
- The Ginger is fed to the conveyor belt, where the secondary sorting process is performed. The roots are removed manually.
- The Ginger is blanched for texture preservation and microbial load reduction.
- The rhizomes are passed through a juice extractor to produce Ginger Juice NFC. Unlike ginger paste, this process involves mechanical pressing and crushing to separate the juice from the solid components.
- The Ginger juice is filtered to remove solid impurities and fibres. The filtration ensures a smooth, clear Ginger juice NFC.
- The Ginger juice NFC is sterilized at 103 – 112 degrees Celsius to eliminate microorganisms. Sterilization also plays a crucial role in extending the shelf life.
- The Ginger juice NFC is eventually packed in aseptic bags in MS drums to produce Aseptic ginger juice NFC.
- The product is stored at ambient temperature and sometimes in temperature-controlled warehouses to retain the organoleptic characteristics.
- Ginger juice is tested in our laboratory with a refractometer to check the brix level.
- The pH value of the product is cross-verified to ensure it aligns with the customer’s specific requirements.
