Neelam mango concentrate – Manufacturing process
- Our Neelam mango concentrate adheres to the highest standards of quality and flavor. The Neelam mangoes are carefully sorted to remove spoiled or injured fruits.
- The secondary sorting is done at the conveyor belt.
- The mango fruits are washed with fresh and chlorinated water at 20-50 ppm to remove dirt and dust.
- The tip of the fruits is cut manually and sent to the destoner. The destoner separates the fiber, peel, and seed.
- The fruit wastes are removed, and the pulp is collected in the standardization tank. The citric acid or ascorbic acid is added per the customer’s requirement.
- The Neelam mango puree is preheated @ 60 – 75 degrees C and sent to the decanter for speck removal.
- The Neelam mango puree is sent to the evaporator to remove water content in the puree to produce Neelam mango concentrate.
- The Neelam mango concentrate is finally sterilized and packed in aseptic bags in drums.
- The product is stored in an ambient-temperature warehouse. Sometimes, based on the customer’s requirement, the product is stored in a cold storage room to retain the organoleptic characteristics of the Neelam mango concentrate.
